South Dakota Archery Antelope hunts
My dad and I are looking at doing a south dakota archery antelope hunt when the season opens in August before I have to be back at school and are planning on a "do-it-yourself" type hunt. We would be staying in a hotel and then using double-bull blinds at waterholes or on game trails, but really need someplace to start looking for public land and or 4-5 leasable land. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Message me here or email me at [email protected]. Thanks

RE: South Dakota Archery Antelope hunts
The best populations of goats are in the Northwest portion of the state. With fair numbers in the southwest corner as well. There is some public land in the good areas. You might contact the Bureau of Land Management and the SD department of tourism. Also the Game Fish and Parks in Pierre SD.
Sturgis, Belle Fouche and Hotsprings would be cities close to the better hunting areas. Also Faith and Lemon and Newell.
