I harvested this bull in Utah this year.We spotted him about 150 yards down the canyon walking all by himself. We decided to give a few cow calls and thats all it took he started bugling and grunting! about 35 minutes later he walked out about 28 yards and i wacked him!!!! he then went about 50 yards and dropped. Not the biggest bull on the mountain but i am very pleased with him and he should make the pope and young book

Attaboy!! That's not a bad bull for 'round here... I called in my first elk for my father-in-law this year and he shot it at 50 yards...I'm already addicted and will be out with my bow next year. How long have you been bowhunting elk??
