When will the 2006 Colorado Big Game application booklets be mailed? Also, what is the deadline for turning in Elk applications?

You know, Colorado is starting to really agrivate me. In fairness though so are several other states. It really ticked me off when they threw us non-residents out of the ranching for wildlife deal. I was a year or 2 out of the hunt I was looking at. The term "bait and switch", comes to mind, I think they should have let the guy's currrently accumulating points continue and cut eveyone else off ass well as those people once they drew. Now they ding us with more fee's. I guess it's just the price to play though. I'm still in for now.

Car, that is exactly what they do. I spoke with a DOW rep the other day to help clear up a few things related to the new PP fee. Even if you apply for a tag and don't get drawn it still costs $25. There are several exceptions to this $25 fee you will find in the reg booklet.
