it is about 2.5 hours north of minneapolis. I'm not a guide but I know a few guys that would book you. I talked to one to today he said he can almost guarantee you a shot at a bear it might not be a monster but a good bear.

Here is a link to the MN DNR page for bear hunting. There is a link for 2005 bear hunting guides on this page. Hope that helps and good luck.

U interested in a fly in bear huntin Manitoba with a guaranteed opportunity? I'm a short days drive from Minneapolis.I run 2 different camps in a remote area that encompasses over 50 lakes in remote Wilderness Park allocated to my business. The smallest bear harvested last spring made a record book & the fishing is superb for Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake trout.I also offer archery whitetail deer hunts & have yearly success on P&Y bucks.
I also offer upland bird, waterfowl hunts on sloughs, stubble fields & hard wood thickets.
All of the deer & bird hunts are on my large privately owned cattle operation & u stay in my cabin along the river.
If U need more info check out my web page at www.mckenzieoutfitters.ca & feel free to drop me a line if U have any questions.
Thanks
Monty
