...idiots... [:@]
If your command of the English language is poor,
thenyou can expect others to have fun at your expense.

It's simple,
Say what you mean,
Mean what you say.

Mules are mules.
Mule deer are mule deer.

Mulies are mule deer.
Mules are NOT mule deer.

Missed it in both your thread title and opening post,
thus your invitation for a literal translation and answer
and a little bit of fun.

Thanks for the english tutorial, gramps. That is not what I was particularily looking for.
Actual advice would be good, as for grammatical advice I can ask an english professor.
BTW its called internet "lingo", althought you may be too "dated" to understand that as well.

Thanks for those you come on here to actually help.

Hmmm, got kind ofpersonal I guess....

"....BTW its called internet "lingo", althought you may be too "dated" to understand that as well...."
Ah, no....

Searched both Deer Hunting and Big Game Hunting for the last 30 days for "mule or mules"....
Only 7 hits and you're in all of them and you're the only one using that "slang"....
So itappears tonot be "internet lingo" but rather"agaucher lingo"and with everyonebeing "dated" except you. Apparently most folks figure you just don't know any better or just consistently careless.

Makes foramusing reading though and thus the impetus of mypassing comment, I could just envisionyour "mule" back in your camp, hanging fromthe meat pole back by his shod mule feet, "x's" inhis eyes, mule tail hanging sadly, and a mule deer tag attached to one of its long mule ears. Usually such images are attached to situations involvinggreenhorn hunters from the city with a bad case of buck fever; however,I amsure this isnot the case here, what with you being from B.C. (Queen's English?), whichofferssome of the prettiest country and best Big Game Hunting in North America.

Good luck with your mule (sic?) hunting.

Althought? Althought? What the hell is an Althought? Are there a group of you posting collectively?

lol? btw? omg? newblite?

That would be internet lingo, and I would imagine you a greenhorn hunter if you have yet to hear a mule deer called a mule.

Once again one word just sums it up.
Idiot.

RE: Mules fighting?

ROTFLMAO, If having heard mule deer called mules (not muleys or mulies) is the imaginary requisite for being a greenhorn, then I guess I'm a greenhorn; however, IMHO I'm thinking I've got tons (and I do mean tons) of experienced company.

".... one word just sums it up. Idiot...."
[:o][:o][:o]

Dang, son, I doubt if that is true.... Don't be so hard on yourself.

BTW, Avatars and acronyms are nice but don't really count for squat.

Agaucher - All in good fun. A little bit of silliness never hurt anyone.

RE: Mules fighting?

Well I'm from the backwoods of missouri. And if'n there was such a thing I recon' i would of heard 'bout it. We got Dog fightin, cock (chicken) fightin, Bear rastlin', and Bar room fightin'. But, I can't say's that I ever heard of mule fightin'. Though if'n you put one on, I got a right nasty bay mule I'd enter, dang that sucker can kick.

OBTW, Internet lingo is usually to shorten the keystrokes. So the theory of Mules being lingo for mullies is bs. If you want to start using MD for Mule Deer that would work but of course others need to accept it as legitimate. For future reference its never a good idea to call someone a greenhorn. Don't you know that everybody on the internet is a genius and an expert.;)

Back to your question. Mule deer will and dorespond to rattling, grunts, & bleats. Though, calling is notthe best way to hunt them in my opinion. Spot and stalk is the most effective means of hunting big md IMHO.
