Bob Marshall success
After waiting for nearly eight months to make the hunt I was able to successfully take a nice 4X5 bull last Sunday in the Bob. The critter weighed in at about 900lbs but looked bigger in the woods. My Hoochie Momma brought him within 30 yards which made the hundreds of shoots taken at 250+ yards a little unnecessary. We took three bulls in four days with two hunters still hunting after I left. This is a tremendous elk area.
I came home tired and beat after spending the remainder of my time there looking for a mulie buck and climbing slides for hours at a time. We had one buck taken that had a raw score of about 190 and it was magnificent.
This WAS the hunt of a lifetime after 38 years of big game hunting. Now I'm home to the sanity of eastern whitetail hunting.
