My wife killed a bull Moose @ 8:38 a.m. on 9/17. She shot it twicewith her 300-win. mag. 1-shot in the lungs & 1-shot in the neck & down he went. She shoots 180-grain Nosler partition bullets, theypreformed perfect.
According to myg.p.s. the moose fell over dead 1.68-miles from the truck.We gutted &capedout the moose where he fell. We packed out the moose with a game cart. The hardest part was crossing three creeks. We also had to lug the cart over the top of three logs. I pulled the cart 90% of the time. She walked behind it to help pushwhen needed.
We had the bull back to camp & unloaded from the truck at 8:38 p.m.!
September-17th. was 12-hours of gutting, caping & packing.We were both wore out. What a blast.

yeah definately. i bet she'll appreciate that meat now that she had to work so hard for it. i hope one day when i get married that my wife will want to do stuff like that with me.
