Has anyone heard of a new law that will require a passport when re-entering US from QC. I have heard that this starts Nov 2005.

I applied for my passport 2 weeks ago. Im not sure when they are going to make this a sure thing. I have heard so much "its going to happen this date" and "that date". So what I did is just spent the 100 bucks and got it done that way I dont have to worry about it for 2006. The lady at the Post Office where I applied said she read its supposed to happen early June 2006. Im not sure if this is fact or not.
