Well, I will be leaving for elk country next Sunday as soon as I get off work!! After three years of applying and all I have gone through with my kidney failure and transplant the last 3 years, I am as pumped as ever to finally get a crack at an elk!! Will be my first hunt for them!! I will be hunting for cows with a muzzle loader. Should be interesting!! The temps are cooling off, and the elk should be real vocal, can't wait!!
P.S. - figured what the heck since everyone else anounced they were going hunting hehehehe...
Oh, and say a prayer for the rememberance of the 9/11 victims and their families, can't believe its already been 4 years since that tragedy.

good luck, if anyone deserves sucess you do!!! Have fun and don't stop just because your tag is filled. If you have time afteryour tag is punchedgo outand just enjoy watching the elk. They sould be in full rut during your hunt and with limited tags in your area they will be as active as ever.
