The opening of Colorado Archery Elk season is almost here. Has anyone else been threatened with divorce or having that bugle tube shoved down their throat? I have been. Oh well, I can still practice in my auto on the way to work and back. Come on Sept. 16. Unfortunately, I can't spend the whole month out there so I will have to wait until then.

Yep, countdown is moving quickly here in Montana. I had schedule my current job, a 2 month long project to finish this week and take all of September off. However, my windows came in late setting as back 4 days, countertops for kitchen have added two more, and this and that has me working the first week of September.[:@] Oh well, I still am fortunate with the time I get to hunt.

Good Luck to all, Shato I know where you are headed Good Luck there and let me know how you did when you get back. I am going to throw a Leupold on that 300 and shoot it this year maybe I will get comfortable with it.
1elkhunter I am familiar with your wife story mine back in the 80's said she left because of my fishing?? I can't say that I miss her though. The bugle story also reminds me of when I use to practice my duck call going into work I think people though I was smoking pot on my ride in. Looks funny on the other side I would imagine. anyway good luck.

I havent found a state that is still issuing license and tags for anything right now, so Im stuck prepping for next year, probably bagging a hog next summer here on island. Hopefully I get to do a mainland hunt before I go back to Iraq next summer.
