Default broadheads for elk???

i am sure that this has been discused before but I will ask anyway. What broadhead do you prefer for elk and why. I am planning on using carbon arrows and shootinga Reflex super slam set at 65-67 lbs. and a 30 inch draw. Any and all help will be apreciated.

Cut on Contact heads are best for elk! I like ones such as Stingers, Razorcaps, Montecs---etc.

Fixed bladed heads are used by many and have taken many elk, but for the best, consider COC!!!! Good Luck!!-------------ElkNut1

I really like Muzzy's. I shoot the 125 gr 3 blades. I moved to them for arrow flight. They fly like a dream out of my setup. I have looked into switching many times to CoC's, but can't get them to fly like the Muzzy's.

A quality, fixed blade like Thunderheads or Razorbak if you prefer cut on contact.

Just confirmed that I'm heading to New Mexico this September...YEAH BABY!!

Never took a bull with a bow, butseveral with rifle and muzzle loaders. I'll be using, what I feel are awesome broadheads. Steelforce 125's, cut on contact (cut on contacts is all I use). Not only are these good solid cut on contact blades, but they also have a serated edge that does some serious tissue damage and getsthe game you are afterleaking real quick!!

I'm with everyone on a COC BH I was going to go with Montec's G5's but have since moved to Magnus stinger's 4 blade 100 gr.
There are many good BH out there,it depends on what you wan't to spend.
