So that's what the flatops look like? I've heard many of you mention them from time to time but never knew what it looked like? It doesn't look to awful steep?
It appears to be somewhat like the areas we venture into exept much thicker vegetation, and thicker timber. You do have a beautiful area there!!! Thanks!

I will be in your general area opening week of archery season on my first elk hunt. I say "general" because I have never been there and most likely will be many miles away. It looks like beautiful country and I can't wait.

This little place here. Fog obscures the mountain at the top of the picture. Elk like to come down into this little meadow early mornings to feed. Southern Colorado in the San Luis Valley

What date are you going? And are you going with someone who has been there before? We leave the 27th Aug. and stay till black powder season starts. It gets kind of crazy then.If you need any info just yell.
