James Vee, that is one beautiful wildebeast! I notice the shot appears to be a paunch shot. How did the animal react and did you need to track to find him? Also, what caliber did you use and was that an entrance or exit hole?

I'll be the first to admit, that my shot was far from perfect. It was rushed, the bull was 100 yards, quartering away, walking and about to take off. After I took the shot, using a .338 with 240gr, and the bull went into a gallop. I shot two more times, but caught brush. The Jack Russel took off first, then the PH and myself took off on foot after the bull. (This I could hardly believe, I would never imagine running down an animal) But after about 300 yards we found that the dog had that bull doing circles trying to get at the dog. I got prone, and shot the bull at the base of the neck, where he dropped.

Here's another, a moose in velvet in November! It didn't have any testicles, the antlers were still warm and full of blood, and I assume still growing!
