Another four this morning, they stop moving around 9:00 got to get in the woods early.

Got everyone added, and the scores added so far on page one. I will split up teams tomorrow night, just based on the order we signed up. Then as more sign up they will be added. Good start to Long Hunter so far! Can't wait for September to get here!

I hunted a giant Pecan grove this morning and only seen one dang squirrel, so it's back to the hickory's for me.

In NC the season is ---> Gray and Red (statewide):
Oct. 17 – Feb. 28
Daily limit 8; No possession or season limits

My Ruger Mark II is now sighted in. Can't wait for Saturday morning.

Three for today, didnt make it in the woods till 8:00 and out by 10:00, got pretty warm fast.

Sniper Mission
 

Put me down for six more. Took my Marlin .17hmr out to the pecan grove this morning along with my folding stool and shooting sticks. These were all taken from the same position and all were on the ground. The first one on the left was the closest at about 30 yards, the second from the left I stepped off at 135 paces.

season opens up sept 17th here just getting the rest of my gear like tent and parts to repair my shotgun hopefully it'll be back up and running smooth though I do have my .22 but prefer shotgun where I hunt probably bring both
