Weather is up and down. My girlfriend isn't feeling well, so I'm in the blind calling for my buddy Jim. He's doing his slam with a bow. Cold yesterday morning, no gobbling with us. Another friend here shot a 20lb, 10" beard, 1 1/8 spurs yesterday. He only heard 2 gobble. No gobbles here this morning. Weather has warmed up some, but a bit windy. Saw plenty of birds yesterday while riding around, but they were all grouped up with hens. Jim's brother has one gobbling now, hopefully we'll have some success! Once this Eastern part of the bow slam is done, the boom stick is coming out!

Hey JW depends on your crossbow but if ya got a Excalibur you can unbolt the foot bar for cocking and run what ever broad head ya like. A little tricky cocking her but it is doable!

I'm not real sure JW. After the cocking, I'd guess you would be fine, but I haven't tried it myself, to be honest.

I have a 10 Point Titan TL4 I just bought used. I'd hate to go buy broadheads only to find the don't fly well off it.

And hey tim03b

Drop in here again!
