Congrats midsouth hunter and onetohunt on the gobblers. Went out this weekend to Western Oklahoma and got skunked. Tough hunting out there with the weather and the birds just not cooperating.

had a long beard at 55 yds and he just left, didn't bust me just lost interest. also, saw a bearded hen this morning, not a scraggly beard but a nice 8'' rope. pretty cool.

First season is over and we have two weeks left. Didn't kill anything here in Missouri yet, did call in a total of 6 jakes and 2 long beards and have not pulled the trigger yet. I will have to do better these next two weeks. We can kill a total of two birds, so I have got to get busy!!

Good news! I got a nice bird on Monday. I'll post pictures as soon as I remember how to do it lol.
