Sorry guys for being so quiet. Between work and hunting I haven't had time. Lol I just shot a jake. 17 LBS, 1/2" spurs and two beards 5 1/2" & 5 1/4". And a funny blooper to boot. Ill tell the story when I can get to a computer.

Well guys! Opening day has arrived. I will be getting off work at 4AM then will be heading out to my spot in the Turkey woods. I will also be heading out on Tuesday morning as well. After that it will just be whenever I can get out there. I will let you all know how it goes.

I was up on some birds at daybreak but they flew down and went the wrong way. I was close on a couple other ones but not close enough. Besides the first 20-30 minutes the Tom's were relatively quiet. Tomorrow I will set up on the other side and hopefully they will fly down the same way they did this morning. If they do I will have a very good chance at a good one.
