Season isn't till the 14 but i have seen tons of turkeys while driving around. Our hunting area is like a 30 to 45 min drive though so we don't get out there very much. We don't go in blind though. April 12 is devoted to waking up early, driving, listening to birds in a bunch of diff spots, and then watching there route once off the roost. Boy I can't wait for youth season. I have a countdown started and my friends at school think i am nuts to wake up at like 4 to go kill a bird. My response is always its not a passion its an obsession (which is kinda ironic because i can't stand mossy oak).

Hey all,

Sorry I have not been on much and may not be on much. School is keeping me busy. I can't wait for opening day!!!! I have seen a few turkeys struttin in PA about 2 weeks ago when it got really warm. A week after that I saw about 20-30 turkeys in the same field.Bad news is thatit issomeone's yard and not a huntable area, oh well.
Well good luck to everyone.

OK team, it looks like thegreat guysrunning this contest are making up stickers. It sounds like they will be sending one or two for each team member to the captains of the teams. If you want them, just pm me your address and I will mail them to you as soon as I get them.

For a sample look at the first post on this pageby JW. It is his AVATAR.

And I am waiting for the first score from our team. Who's gonna get us on the scoreboard first?
