25 birds? Holy cow! I wish I was hunting where you are.

Our season doesnt start for another 2 weeks, but I'm gonna start scouting hard once the weather cooperates. My birthday was on wednesday and the girlfriend got me an undertaker choke, so I am going to go pattern that this weekend. I'm getting pumped tho!

Yeah, but its mostly hens, 2 flocks came together in one field... It ws ugly, I'll get a picture next time.

well i damn near drowned this morning, but it was better than doin nothing... i have been on three different birds the past 2 days and i just can't seem to make it happen i think they still have the ladies with em...when this rain lets up im gonna get back out there.... is anybody else getting wet? When can you start hunting with a gun kingv?

WEDSDAY....

I went out scouting this weekend. The first place I went to I heard about 20 gobbles bright and early, but they stopped by 7am. Today, I went to a different place and scouted, and patterned the shotgun. I found several tracks and I am going to go listen tuesday morning. Good luck to everyone who starts this week!

Well today I didn't get to hunt..and tomorrow doesn't look good either..the Back water has flooded my neighbors woods so now I can't hunt it!

I got another one this morning around 7:15....He is an old east Tennessee mountain turkey! only weighed 18 pounds had 1 1/8 in spurs and not a single sign of a beard!!!

Me and a friendwere going after two different birds and he was about 50 yards in front of them, but niether one of us had a clue he was in the world... he never gobbled or anything we just kinda strolled up on him as we were making our way to the other birds...He made us at about fifty yards and spooked so I took the shot and the ole benelli came thru again!
