MObow I was not at the IL show. I was supposed to be at the MI show but couldn't make it due to a brutal whiteout. You can see my profile at our website or Im also in the new dvd "The Grind".

Its right before I get into St Louis coming over from Indiana on I 70. Its by a big landfill. Do you ever see these turkeys? Last year I saw one strutting not 20 ft off the interstate. Both ultimag and chrisH haven'y been logged in since the teams were picked. I'll give them til monday which would give them a week to check in. I think that's fair?

I am here guys . Sorry I took so long computer was down for a few days. First thing I saw was JW Email. Looks like we will have a good team. I will be hunting Mt. Wy. And Idaho for sure. Mobowhunter were we on the same team last year?

Welcome ultimag, yea we were on the same team last year...and I believe you killed two birds scoring 66 and 67. Keep up that kind of work and you canbe my teammate every year. I really think we got a shot at winning this thing.

I cannot wait to get rolling.But I am not looking forward to pay the fuel bill. Hey all the Missouri hunters I was in Missouri in August.Ft. Leornard Wood man was it hot and humid.

Real nice looking turkey country.Seen lots of armadillos. We went down for my stepsons army graduation. Also went to Merrmack Caverns.

I cant wait to get going as well. Im thinking of a hunt to a southern state before Missouri gets going on April 21st. I just love turkey hunting and cant get enough. Any team mates got a hunt down south that can refer me to some public land or private in March or beginning of April? I just cant get enough turkey hunting. I think we have a great team this year. Did Chris H ever check in?

I feel ya Arrowmaster. Here is what I would like to do start out in south Fla. first of march and slowly work my through the south then northwestrly until I end up back in Mt. at the end of May. That is what I am talking about

Id love to start out in Florida. Ya never know I just might put something together. I know Im ready to start hunting. I wouldnt care if it was just a weekend hunt. I know I can adjust my hours at work to accomedate me going...

What will be everyone's weapon of choice? I'd like to take one with my gun and one with my bow. Gonna take the first one with my gun and hunt the rest of the season bow only.

I will be using my bow to start and then my gun if it gets down to it. I only get one tag and it's a two week season.

hehehehe yep non resident tags are expensive. But sometimes well worth it. I will buy a non resident tag for MISSOURI every year. WOW they have some awesome turkey hunting. Im ready to buy land over there just for the hunting. Last year I got a surprise hunting Missouri. I got to see my first Bobcat in the wild. I thought that was awesome.

Bobcats are cool I trapped 4 this year.Are you hunting public ground in Mo? I have an opprtunity some year to hunt a farm in Mo. Swap n hunt with a fella. I take him bow huntin Elk and I get too hunt turkeys at his farms. I need more timeLOL

Public land can be good in MO too. I killed my biggest bird the last weekend of the season of public. This year it will be a split between public and private for me. Mostly public though because I hunt three morning a week before I go to school.

i am statring to get excited one more week and i can be in the woods again. so let me get this right we count our biggest bird so if i shoot a 50 then the following week i get 60 the 60 will be the one that counts |

hoosier I haven't read the rules but in years past you can score one bird your higest scoring bird is the one we will use. someone corect me if I am wrong

Hey GMMAT hows it going? Glad were on the same team here in the turkey hunting contest. I had a bad deer season. Hopefully turkey season will be way better... Good luck to all my teammates. Go team 3... I'm going strictly with the bow.....just like last year. Should be interesting.;) |
