Hey guys, has anyone heard from our missing team member yet?? Hows everyone weather where they are?? Ours is finally starting to look like we will have a little warmer weather the next week or so, hopefully the snow, and ice is gone for the year. Now as long as we dont get late frosts again and kill all the acorn buds this year.

i sent him a PM, he hasnt been on in quite a while though. it looks like its gonna warm up here too. and last year that big frost KILLED our deerhunting up in montgomery county, but down in stoddard and butler county there was a bigger nut crop than ive ever seen down there, they didnt get hit with it last year.

We got hit hard with the late frosts last spring, and had a very slim acorn crop. Our white oaks had nothing, and there were very few red oaks with any on them.

Weather stinks in Ohio. Had 21 inches dropped from Friday to Saturday evening. Blizzard warnings and level 3 emergency for two days. Had to pick up some of the docs I work with due to the snow. Since I'm in the medical field I was able to drive to and from work...plus I've got four wheel drive.Haven't had any good breaks in the weather to scout, but that should change this week. I have one more week before I head to Georgia and hunt my home state. From there I'm heading to Alabama for a couple days. Hopefully, I'll be able to put a bird on the board here quite soon. Around the 10th of April I'm heading to Oklahoma to the Black Kettle Grassland and then off to Kansas. My father lives in Bolivar, MO, so I'll stop by and do a little hunting there as well. Can't wait and I'm really hurting for some turkey love.
