Not a complaint, but a question. I bought some D-loop material...oh, a month or 2 ago, and installed it right away. I love it, the knots cinch down beautifully.....
But, it broke on me Wednesday evening. Like I said, at the most it was on the bow 2 months. Is this normal, should the life expectancy be longer? I never knew I could punch so hard....man that hurt.
I would suspect that loop didn't have more than.....500 shots on it. That may be low, lets say, for the sake of argument, 750.

I amSOOO terribly sorry to hear of your mishap, mobow. But Iam glad you weren't seriously hurt. Though I'm sure it hurt enough.
I have never heard of this happening unless a release has a chinger (rough spot) and is rubbing alot on the D-Loop and fraying it. I would possibly check your release for this.
And also make sure your bow mechanic checks all parts/areas of your bow for safety when shooting.
This material quite possibly has hundreds of strands and just won't break for no reason. Virtually impossible. It is extremely durable and is onethe reasons I sell it. I would never sell a product I thought was inferior.
Most of my customer's have such a long life out of their D-Loop they change them because they tire of that color and want another color... or change color of their strings.
Again I send my sincerest regards (I am so sorry)to you pertaining to this mishap and I hope I have perhaps cleared up what might have transpired.
Please feel free to PM me if there is anything I may assist with.
