i think barometric pressure has a big influence. i use to buy the moon guide every year but after a while i figured out if i have time off im going to the woods regardless if the moon guide says its a good day to go or not. i also realized after buying the guide a couple years and comparing predictions that according to the moon guide they always indicated 5 days after a full moon was the most active time to hunt and for a couple days after that . i dont believe this totally because 2 years ago on the day of the full moon in november i seen like 4 bucks in a half hour. the most ive ever seen at once in a short time. i think of it as a hunters farmers almanac and thats about it
