Torontohunter,are you referring to Jeff Murray's moon guide,or someone elses? I have purchased his in the past as well as one put out by Prime Times.I did see some correlation between rising and setting sun's and rising and setting moons,they proponents of the use of these suggest if you can have two of these things occurring at approximately the same time the effect is much greater.I do believe this is true and have witnessed it in the activity of deer and turkeys while hunting and their activity in the fields by my home.Charles Alsheimer has also written extensively about it.
I heed those things and I also watch the weather very aggressively,significant changes in barometric pressure,fronts coming in and going out.All of this leads to more productive hunting.
