Default Splitting Carbon Arrows... Unintentially

Before I switched to the longbow, I was shooting Carbon Rebel arrows just fine from my compound. After I swtiched, however, the arrows started splitting at the nock upon release. Maybe my release isn't as smooth as it was with the compound, and that sloppiness is putting more stress on the arrows. Or do traditional bows simply stress the nock area more than compound bows do?

By the way, the arrows are spined correctly. My compound is actually 5# heavier.

Anybody else have this problem? I've been considering using arrows with bushings, like the Easton A/C/C; I figure maybe they'd fix the problem.
