Patterned the 870 Saturday: 35 yds., Rem. Turkey Load 2 3/4 4's, Carlson .665 choke. Might even take a pop at 40 yds. or so with this pattern. Had a hen in the woods behind the house, about 250 yards. Dug out the slate and started up a conversation. Not sure what I was saying, but it got her attention... 2 weeks to opener but who's counting.
