Yeh, I agreewith cougar. Those are pretty impressive numbers. Unfortunately numbers don't kill deer. Accuracy does. I'm trying to be nice here so don't take it the wrong way, but I would suggest to get real world numbers you go ahead and shoot through the chrono at 50 yards. I have done it myself. My point is, if you think you are reasonably accurate enough to start taking 50 yards shots at game then the chrono screen is surely big enough to represent the vital zone of a deer (assuming that's what your hunting). So if you lack the confidence to shoot through that V shape then surely that's too far to worry about how much speed and KE is available at that range.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't practice that far. Practicing at longer range does sharpen the skills to boost confidence at more normal distances. So I'd say go ahead and take a shot or two through the chrono. If you drill it then you should learn a little something from the experience.
