For mid-range, you might want to look at the Hoyt Ultramag, Bowtech Blackhawk package (2005), Darton Avalanche, or the new Fred Bear bow that is coming out soon. Martin does have some nice bows in the mid-range of price, or as the bowhunting magazines have started calling it "price point."
