My first though was clearence as well but not in the typical sense. When dose the arm on the DZ start to drop? Dose it just top out at full draw or dose it top out quickly and stay up through most of the power stroke?

I think (without actually seeing the bow or you shooting) that the arm may be coming up too soon and dropping to late. Just a thought but worth a look.
