I dont see any reason to rethink it. A 243 is a good varmint cal a 25-06 is just best for longer range shots. If youre leaning towards the 243 I think you shlould just stick to it.
Thanks coyotegod. I will have to check out some reloading sites and determine the best fit. When my son gets old enough to hunt with me I may end up using it for deer also. So I will have to consider that.
