Default RE: please tell me just one negative to crossbows

Mattiac - exactly - they don't flex nearly as much as they use to. That means the bows are increasingly becoming less and less bow and more and more ........... bows on steroids !

Those who don't like the idea of crossbows ........... at what point are YOU going to draw the line that a compound is just too damn technologicially advanced ? A few years back it was >65% letoff - remember ? Remember when mechancial releases were not allowed ? Remember when mechnical head were not allowed ? I'm sure ya'll can bring up more things that are standard on compounds now that use to be taboo.

When will enough be enough ? I mean geeeeeeeeeez, you're only holding 10-15% of the letoff as it is, the bows are 32" ATA and 3.2 pounds, they have 8 1/2' brace heights, horizontal limbs ........... cams the size of a dinner plate and SIMS out the yang - how much MORE advanced can we take ?

Answer : a lot
