Geez, If I were to have a custom rifle built, the last thing I would do is have it built on a bargain basement action like the Savage. What next, custom rifles built on a rem 710?

I'd pick the Sako 75 or Remington 700.

A Winchester or Ruger wouldn't be bad either so long as the piece of poop cast extractors are replaced with something made out of honest to goodness spring steel.
