As far as the slugs go...you just showed me just how much you know about the tools you use. You can consider yourself a slob hunter now.
The FACT is that the Winchester Supreme Partition Gold Sabow slugs that exit the muzzle at 1900fps at 385grns have a KILLING range of 200yds easy! Don't belive me LOOK it up....slob There is a published report of how a slob hunter killed a HORSE at over 200yds with one....you probably know him.
I bet a bullet from a 30 .06 can kill a horse 2 miles away - that doesn't make the effective range two miles
