IdahoElk.. I got off the phone with my best friend who lives about 10 miles from my Gunsmith. He told me the gunsmith had a Christensen arms non shooter sitting on his bench. As far as the smith could tell it had to be the barrel.


The strongest action out there would be a Remington ,Weatherby MKV or a Ruger and probably not in that order. Although looking at my Vanguard with its machined forged reciever I can't see that blowing up or allowing much gas to get to the shooters face.
