I'd think you could tell a bit more from the way the breast was removed. Surrounding flesh might yield some clues, as long as the bird was recently deceased.
Like was said earlier. There should be a distinct difference in the way the breast meat was removed, including any type of marks on the bones, from teeth or knife.
