Default RE: Barebow Shooting with Glasses

Basically the same thing here. I've shot for quite awhile now and until recent (past two years had great vision). I've been diagnosed with a slight stigmatism though slight I have a hard time focusing even though on eye exams they are saying 20 20 w/o glasses.

Anyways, the first year was tough. I too picked up some pretty small glasses, bent them to get them right up on my brows which created other issues but allowed me to keep almost the identical anchor. Since I've noticed myself settling into an anchor albeit slightly lower but with a more foreward head position which is nice as it keeps me from hitting my stinking nose tip. Try that one at -40 once and you'll think twice about shooting in the COLD lmao. At the time I was practicing pretty dilegently on the split vision method and it was coming around ok, then the doc said I needed glass's. The past year has been rough and I cant quite nail it. Eye pains, chest pains and most recently groin pains. The joys of becoming an old fart, I just hope I make it that far.
