It requires a little more skill in operating a compound as to pulling a trigger. Please don't put me in the same group. Bobby
What does it matter if you practice all year to get 3" groups with a compound and my co-worker can pick one up and get 3" group with the same compound in 30 minutes ?
Does it GET much easier than that ? Face it - the modern compound bow is DESIGNED to be accurate, EASY, quiet, fast , light ............. all in one package.
If crossbows were that much easier/better, wouldn't states that allow them in archery season be 90% crossbow hunters ? But no - the majority are still compound hunters.
What does that tell you ?
And hey Bobby, I CAN put you in the same group because I shoot a recurve, which requires me to spend hours and hours of tme mastering, shooting off the shelf, no sights, no triggered releases, no peep, no cams, no wheels, no cables, no letoff ............ I can say you're a bowhunter wannabe because my choice of weapons is vastly more difficult than yours (BTW, the same argument you're trying to use if you didn't notice)
See how easy it is for YOU as a compounder to suddenly look the fool ?
