RE: First Time Landowner! Need some help!
1) identify all the plants, trees, bushes on your land.
2) determine which are non-native invasives, and which are native and benificial to wildlife. Also try to figure out what native bushes and trees might be absent from your land
3) Start removing non-native bushes and trees .... prioritize, give existing beneficial trees and bushes room to grow first.
4) start planting native bushes and trees, oaks, american plum, serviceberry, hackberry, dogwoods, highbush cranberry, apple, ect.
5) If you have space and time, plant a foodplot.
