Overall its a nice start. I'd drop the snow flakes its distracting and doesn't add to the website. If you need and active X component use something less obtrusive. If you have to have a flash presentation included in the site make it the opening page as an intro and allow low bandwith user to by pass it. Another suggestion is make sure you view your site using multiple browsers, like Netscape or Opera besides Internet Explorer. Every client may display a website's content diifferently or possibly not at all. I have done some simple designs a few years ago but I spend most of my time in the IT hardware end now. Just a few suggestions.
