You guys are hilarious. You are crying and looking pretty silly slamming everything anybody says negative about crossbows. I posted from the Texas regs showing how anybody who wants to use a crossbow is perfectly able to do so and have a longer season than archery. Why should crossbows be allowed an extra season or why not let muzzleloaders in with archery. You say how crossbows are more like bows than guns but at the same time you say how 2 young hunters would have been deprived the chance to harvest deer without the use of a crossbow because they couldn't harvest them with a compound no more than they could have with a recurve or longbow, yet they could have harvested them just as easily with a GUN as they did with a crossbow. Its pretty obvious to all reading that some people just can't stand compounds and will do and say anything to get their digs in. What are you looking for? Everyone to say how great you are that you shoot trad? Who are you kidding. Compounds weren't developed by some geeky computer guy who never saw the light of day. They were developed by archers who by far knew more about archery than you. Get over yourself and your trad bs. I never really gave xbows that much thought but now I would never be in favor of them just from reading all the bs from this thread.
