Default RE: please tell me just one negative to crossbows

compounds did not change bowhunting.
you did NOT just say that with a straight face did you ? OMG !!!!!!!!! I really .... don't know how to respond to that. Its like saying the automobile didn't change travel that much !

datamax plz tell us the real reasion, you are pussing this.
The real reason is I see a highly flawed argument against crossbows and I love to debate highly flawed arguments.

Seems like anyone wanting to hunt with a crossbow, at least in Texas, is free to do so.
OMG - say it IS NOT TRUE !! Texas deer herds will be slaughtered, there'll be so many people using them they'll cut the seasons - it will obviously RUIN deer hunting there in archery season !

What ? You mean its been like that for years ? Why ......... and no negative effects ?

What say you anti-crossbow zealots to Texas ??

O.K. I've read every post and feel the need to jump in
you are a braver soul than I !

Data,
How do you know it hasn't happened in those states. I'd like to see your statistics on the percentage of "slob" hunters in each weapon category. You can't show me these stats because they don't exist. However, I guarantee that there is a greater number of lost deer per hunter for those using crossbows than those using compounds.

Awe, geeeeez man, I LIVE here - I think I know how crossbows impact my state ! Most slob hunters I run across are compounders - by far.

Of course, I am basing this on info that you yourself provided about the effectiveness of the crossbow versus compounds
Okay, explain that logic. I'll sit back on this one because your conclusion baffles me.
