I'll add that I REALLY like the size of the Scout. Fits in a shirt pocket. I like the Legend they upgraded me to,...but would never pay for the difference because I don't need "waterproof"! I have never owned a full sized model, but assume they are as good performance wise. Can't think of a reason they wouldn't be, except for possibly ranging distance. For us bowhunters,....700 yds is far enough!
