Extra archery hunters are better IMHO and that is the only matter we should debate. I believe in a free society people should be able to use what they want as long as the bottom line is the same. Thirty years of observed facts in Ohio has verified that crossbows and compound bows have:

a comparable safety record
identical effective range and sensible accuracy
a raise in the amount of people hunting during archery season

1st off most people now days do use a range finder with a crossbow you will surly have the time.
ELKINMTCWB, no one would ever take a shot like that. Most experts agree that forty yards are max for hunting bows. Besides, how could you adjust your scope accordingly? If you do guess it’s a complete miss.
