Original question:
Do you think it was right, years ago to let compound bows into the archery season? After all they were vastly different than the long or recurve bow.
Nobody is answering that, because they themselves use compounds and they'd be effectively be arguing themselves out of their own chosen weapons !
Answer:
Ahh yes I do! Depends how you look at it. Some people called it evolution of the bow. Some people actually shoot compounds because they love technology and they get a charge out of it.
But not according to you huh? EVERYONE who chooses a compound does so because it's sooooooo easy compared to traditional. Being one who started out trad and still dabbles in trad I can honestly say your arrogant attitude gives trad hunters a black eye!
Responce to answer:
Like I said, you want YOUR easy, you want YOU choice, you want YOUR technology and YOUR charge .......... but dammit if you'll let anyone else have theirs.
I have yet to hear a responce to that question that dosen't come across sounding like that exactly. If they did, then they would not be able to reply to this statement. Which BTW no one has yet.
It was ok back then to bring in something new and VERY different AND include it in the SAME season, but now it's completely out of the question...unless it has it's own season
