Isn't it that same kind of arrogance that is behind the compound and trad hunters not wanting to alllow crossbows into "their" seasons? Now don't get me wrong. I have the same kind of elitist attitude when it comes to bowhunting and I will freely admit it B......U.......T where I draw the the line is letting my elitist attitude lead me to make decisions or lobby against decisions that would exclude other hunters from being able to choose what type of equipment to shoot. Sure a line has to be drawn but in my opinion the jump here is insignificant and it's that same arrogance that you referenced causing the resistance and the devision.
