I have a little more barrel to work with in the Omega. I also found that with Black Mag'3 the 209 primer made more velocity than the small rifle primer. I am not sure what you are using for primer but with shorter barrel it is possible that a hotter primer may get the charge lit sooner and give you sufficient burn to accelerate the bullet in 22 inches. I am guessing that the Pinnacle will work similar to the Black Mag'3 only from rumor that they are both ascorbic acid based propellants. I should know more when I have some to shoot. A representative from Goex told me I should not have to pay $25 a pound for Pinnacle but that is what it is costing me for five pounds with shipping and hazmat. He says they do not have a distributor in the Phoenix Arizona area yet. I ordered mine from Powderinc.
