Patience.. that's the biggest tip I can offer. Check your local laws about orange/camo. Here in PA we just have to have a blaze orange hat. I wear that and camo. Then I set up on the edge (up hill edge if I can) and wait. I also carry a dog whistle so if they are walking I give a quick squeek, They stop, sit up and I can usually get a nice shot off.
