After seasoning the chicken livers I put a couple on each hook then freeze individually on a cookie sheet (buy a tinfoil one NOT your wifes favorite cookie sheet). It helps keep the stink down, they stay on the hook well for casting and thaw quickly in the warmer water. Fish on bottom with slip sinker.
