The older Smith Model 29's and the 629 are indeed nice guns.The Smith's won't hold up with full magnum loads as well as the Redhawks and SRH do. They have special loads to only be used in T/C's and Ruger's mentioned earlier. That tells you something right there about the Rugers and T/C's.
