I thought as you guys did at first, but now that I've looked closer I don't think that it's even a buck. Look at how small that deer is and how skinny the neck is. If it were a buck it would a young buck and no way would it be sporting antlers that thick this early if it's a young buck. I think what we are looking at is the folds of the inner ear that appear to be rounded up because the deer's got its ears back. I could be wrong, but I think we are all going through antler withdrawal.
